School Participation (PHASE 1 is closed, PHASE 2 registration is NOW OPEN!)
Youth TransformNations is BACK in full swing for Phase 2 of #LettersToDad to help turn the hearts of children to their fathers! For Pilot Phase 1 we were able to reach 9,500 students in schools! If your school missed pilot phase, you could still be a part of phase 2!
The objective of the campaign is to promote communication and building of relationships between young people and their elders, especially with fathers, father figures and mentors, by making memories through writing a letter and also taking a moustached -photograph with their dads.
The Father factor is an important part in the child’s education. A study of 1330 children showed that fathers who are involved on a personal level with their child schooling increases the likelihood of their child's achievement. When fathers assume a positive role in their child's education, students feel a positive impact. We hope the school will be able to help in promoting the child’s connection with their fathers/male mentors in their life.
We would like to invite your school to be part of the next phase which simply requires scheduling a 25-30 minute time slot for #LettersToDad to present the campaign to your students in your school hall. If required, we can also make 2 presentations in a day for different sessions or levels.cDuring the presentation, students will receive the #LettersToDad Kits.
Schools registering for PHASE 2 of #LettersToDad campaign from beginning August to November 2013, please RSVP by 20 August 2013 to book a time slot and get a early bird discount of 15% for #LettersToDad kits for only first 5 schools!
